What do you miss from your childhood?

Apart from missing my Mum and Dad, and the care they gave me, I miss eating toast that's been done on a toasting fork over the fire, having stories read to me and dipping a Kit Kat finger in my cup of tea.

I really miss the fact that public transport was cheap - OK a lot of it was erratic and dirty, but you could at least afford it. In 1974 I got a BR day return from Manchester to London for £5 - OK it was an offer, but even so.....
Or, get the coach down to Victoria Bus Station and get one of the Paris buses....they still run, I believe.
