Wounded Bird

It may sound trivial but a blackbird flew into our kitchen window and knocked its self out. It came round after a few minutes and ran round the garden but wont fly..Its raining and getting dark. As I said it may sound trivial but we are concerned. Is there anything we can do to help it...Thank-you...

Gently put it in a cardboard box and leave overnight. If still alive tomorrow, phone RSPCA for advice.

i agree. however, it needs to fly again otherwise it's days are numbered

look for a bird sanctuary near you, thats what I did for a wounded wood pigeon in my garden, go on A/B animal section and ask where your nearest one is. I had to drive 30 miles each way but I thought it was worth it, dont like to see any animal/bird in distress.
