Prescription of Mometasone 0.1% - "Elocon"cream

Doctor says to apply it to eyelids for at least 7 days. Leaflet inside packaging says do not apply to face for more than 5 days. Which one is right?? Cant get thru to doc so just thought I would ask here in meantime

Listen to Dr. Just been through allergy flare up and ended up on HC45 1%, only thing that has touched it. Like you I queried several times. Told me perfectly safe and they use it in drops form on babies. Clear eye lids for first time since January
I have advised time and time again on this website......throw the bl00dy instructions away. They cause more trouble than they are worth.
Five days, seven days - not much difference. I'd be worried if he'd said seven weeks, perhaps!

Thanks guys - just didnt fancy making the situation worse. Swelling has gone down considerably already since starting cream yesterday.
(Sorry Sqad - not seen you write that before, but you are right - it says side effect of cream may be skin rashes!! The cream is meant to help the skin!)
