What are the most bland 30-something, coffee table, middle of the road bands/artists out there? I'm including Maroon 5, Toploader, Katie Melua, Keane, Jamie Cullum, Athlete etc. Any more suggestions?

Mr Cockney Rhyming Slang himself, James Blunt...and no-one's mentioned Travis yet. I'd agree with most of the others (although I think MrsB is being a tad harsh on Franz Ferdinand).

Whatever happened to Athlete? I seem to recall they used to be half decent before realising there was more money in sounding like Son of Coldplay.

Cant agree with Keane or Stereophonics or U2 or Franz Ferdinand or Athelete!!! But def Coldplay and Dido. But what about Radiohead - just dont get them myself!
