Can you freeze dill? If I use coriander, basil or flat leaf parsley I chop it and freeze it. I`ve got lots of dill left over from tonight`s dinner and I don`t want to waste it.
I don't think it would be good for a garnish after freezing, but it can be used in a dish for flavour. A good way to freeze herbs is to chop them up and put them in ice cube trays with a little water, then turn them out when you want them. The water evaporates with cooking.
