CSA - finally got decision,wait for it........!

After EIGHT years chasing CSA for my son's father to pay towards him, and with me endlessly calling them to tell them that yes he is on benefits but yes he also works full time cash in hand, and even telling them where he works, and yes he does also drive a Merc, and yet gets his rent and council tax paid for, they have awarded me................SIX pounds a week!! Not backdated either. And the reason for the low amount? "He is claiming benefits and doesnt earn enough" YES HE DOES - he earns a blooming fortune cash!!
Am going to calm down now......

The CSA are garbage - I've heard so many stories like this before.

At least you can hold your head up and know that YOU have raised a fine son

Oh I dont really speak to him.He is meant to see my son regularly but cancels at the last second every time. Hasnt bothered to see our son since last year now. Yet when son goes on FB he sees that his dad has been here there and everywhere on holidays and trips. I just bite my tongue and if son asks to call him I just let him whenever he wants.

I will never understand how someone can just be so mean and un caring towards their children. It doesn't matter what you think of each other ultimately the money is for the children. I would be ashamed to meet my children as adults if I had treated them like that.
