Hi
When I am browsing the web using Firefox and I want to open on a new tab, I could click on the tab and get a new "blank page". Somehow, when I do this now, I get a page showing "Funmoods" search page. I have tried uninstalling Funmoods using Revo Uninstaller and it no longer appears in the list of installed programs but I still get this annoying Funmoods Search when I click on a new tab. Can anyone offer any advice please ? Many thanks

In Firefox, go to Tools > Add Ons > Extensions. It should be shown in the list that comes up. If so, click the Remove button next to it and that should get rid of it.

Yes thank you for this. I did what you suggested and it worked. However, when I next used Firefox search engine facility to look for a site I had used before, I just happened to notice down in the left corner of my screen (so small so I nearly missed it) a message that read: "waiting for start.funmoods.com". So although it did not appear on the top of the screen it is still there.
Not sure what to do next.
You should really start your own thread for this....

But, click the little arrow on the left of the search box and select manage search providers, highlight the offending provider and click remove.
Hi. I thought I had started a new thread somewhere else and the system directed me to a previous response from Aquariel.
I followed your very good suggestion but Start.Funmoods.com don't appear on the list of search engines that can be managed by this method.
But thanks.
