Full House anagram help

I'm doing The pyramid effect puzzle in the Full House magazine, where each answer uses all the letters plus one other from the previous answer. Then the yellow squares have to be rearranged to make a word that follows 'egg'

I've done the puzzle and have the letters RIEMU, but can't work out the answer.

These were the clues and I've put the yellow highlighted letters in brackets
1./ Indefinite article - A
2./ Thank You! - TA
3./ Creative work - A(R)T
4./ Eye droplet - TEAR
5./ Extremely angry - (I)RATE
6./ Keep possession of - RETAIN
7./ Tower of a mosque - MINAR(E)T
8./ Think deeply - RU(M)INATE
9./ Scaled-down version - MINAT(U)RED

I would really appreciate some help.

In no9 the extra letter is a 'd' nit a 'u'. Does that make any difference.

Thank You so much, now that I look at my spelling I can see that it is wrong. Egg Timer it is.
