are you suggesting they should get less, i would have sent them down for far longer.

It's rude to say the least to go sending parcel bombs, just because they sent them about football rather than a political motive does not make them any less terrorists, so yes I'm comfortable with that sentence.

They were acquitted of conspiracy to murder. The report doesn't say what kind of assault they were guilty of conspiring to commit. The devices were not capable of exploding, having no detonators for one thing. They were guilty because they intended to cause some sort of injury, at least abh. Given all that, 5 years is about right.
