Blood pressure

60+ and taking 50mg anatalol daily and a stone overweight. I have been suffering from a head cold this last week and when I checked my BP found it to be 154/92 and then took it a few times but approx the same. Usual with the medication 140/80. Is this due to me feeling poorly and should I see about it
Thanks for any suggestions as thinking being poorly could raise it.

It could be or there again it might not be.

Check your BP twice daily at the same time for the next 10 days.....then get back to us if it hasn't returned to normal.

make sure you sit down for 20 mins before taking it, standing can make it go up.
