Anybody have any info about Audible.co.uk? Checked bank account yesterday and this company have taken a payment of £7.99 out. It seems that they are an Ebook website somehow connected to Amazon. I phoned them today and they told me i signed up for a 30 day trial in January. I assured them that i hadn't and i certainly hadn't entered any payment info either. They refunded my payment without any questions but only explanation was that Amazon and Audible accounts can be merged. Slightly worried, anybody else had a similar experience with them?

Most people get roped in by claiming a free audio book from somewhere (such as this Daily Mail offer)
http://www.dailymail....63793/Audible-uk.html
and forgetting to cancel their 'free' membership before it reverts to a normal one.

Otherwise though, Audiobook.co.uk is a well-respected company.
Audible are a legit audiobook company - part of amazon.

They tend to aim 'free trial offers' at amazon purchasers and via newspapers - you just have to remember to cancel after you get the free download.
You type too fast Chris :)

Yes they claimed i had signed up for a 30 day free trial in January. I can categorically say i did not. I'm very careful about what i sign up for. Until i saw the debit on my account to audible.co.uk i had never heard of them and had to search online to find some info and a contact number.
