I'm off to see Coldplay next month at the Etihad Stadium in Manchester next month (Yayyyyyyyy) and I'm looking for a clean, decent hotel a short distance away.

Any reccomendations?

Haven't got the tickets yet. We received an email saying that they're awaiting receipt of the tickets from the event organisers and that we have nothing to worry about (I am however worried)

There's Sport City Travelodge on the arena site - otherwise its a bit of a ride to manchester city centre for alternatives

Incidentally, if you are booking a hotel, do it as soon as, as I imagine hundreds of others will be attempting the same.
