Hi all, just been made redundant so looking at a change of career. I have quite a good knowledge of PC's so want to get into IT. Has anyone taken a CompTIA A+ course or a MCSE course which I believe incorporates A+ anyway. Im a young 41. Any advice? Reputable training companies, cost? Thanks

I did the CompTIA A+ hardware/software through the job centre a couple of years ago . I think I had to be on income support for 6 months though so I doubt if it will help you .Might be worth a look though

My mate recently got made redundant and the Jobcentre funded his <a href=http://www.firebrandtraining.co.uk/cours

training </a> with Firebrand. Apparently the paperwork takes a few weeks but he got certified in a fortnight.

They definitely do DWP/Jobcentre funding. Good Luck :o)
