I have recently had a morso stove fitted. The glass door gets dirty very quickly.
What is the easiest way to clean the door please?

I know from our own Hunter stove that it is difficult to avoid the blackening occuring on the glass, especially if you are burning wood. Try to set the fire as far back from the door as possible.
You can get a proprietary glass cleaner specifically for wood-burner door glass - try yellow pages for your nearest stove retailer - also make sure your logs are really dry and seasoned - ideally 2 to 3 years old. Also avoid burning pinewood. Its the tars in the wood that discolour the glass. Also logs that still have moisture in them will lead to ash caking in the chimney, causing problems a bit later on. We find ash or beech are the best logs if you can get them.
Hi the trade uses Calfire cleaning products, they are better than stovax and normally cheaper. the one you need is Calfire Spareline Glass Cleaner it's a quality product formulated to remove the toughest tar, soot and creasote stains from stove window glass.
