Are you a food label snob?

Or will you buy whatever is cheapest? If you buy cheap, what have you had that you would recommend?

I'll buy Heinz Salad Cream and Heinz baked beans. Lidl's mayo is scruumily creamy and imo better than Helmans. Lidl's Brown sauce and ketchup are good too. A couple of their coffees are smooth and nice.
Needs must when the devil drives.

can be a food snob I think, Mayo has to be Hellmands, Cornflakes... Kellogs
(own brands are like cardboard), Porridge...Quaker Oats, butter...lurpack (no salt),Jaffa cakes..McVities (own brand too hard and not enough orangy stuff) Juice..Ocean Spray.....Vodka....got to be a brand(no paint stripper), Gravy granules..Bisto or Oxo cubes, Softner...Lenor.

I do buy own brand on some things,Sainsbury red label T bags, Toilet Roll..
from Farmfoods, Soap Powder...Asda tablets (sesitive!!!)...
I do try own brand things, but usually find they don't quite taste the same.

I won't buy cheap meat.
