Missing episodes of "Cold Case" on Universal channel

Does anyone know why Universal miss out some episodes of Cold Case?

I only started watching Cold Case at the start of the year, so I'm watching some "seasons" of it out-of-sequence.

I am currently watching Series 2 and was annoyed to find that (despite using the "Series Link" feature on Sky+), my recordings jumped from episode 8 to episode 10.

I checked back through the schedules and, for some odd reason, episode 9 doesn't appear.

The "missing episode" also happened with season 5 and season 6.

Any ideas, please?

I Series Linked Season 1, and they missed Episode 22 (which was the one I actually wanted to see!)
