Rugs slide about

Just had new carpet fitted in my flat.
All my rugs move about when walked on.
How can I stop this happening ?

i remember being told by a carpet shop owner that you shouldnt use rugs because they wear your carpet much quicker

Rugs slide about is one of the problem that we get to heard most of the time. to prevent the sliding of rugs there is a simple solution for it. just install a rug pad underneath your rugs and every thing is done, it will not slide any more, the rug pad will hold the rugs firm in one place and will avoid the accidents because of rugs sliding.for more info on rug pad means how to install it and what are its advantages you can visit this post.
