Just wanting to know if anyone had Freeserve Broadband and is it any good? Looks like the best deal to me, but I need a second (or third) opinion.

Had it for about a year. Never had any problems with it but I've seen what look like better deals around since.
[hi Steph,] Hi Bazzdude, Freeserve ok till you wanna quit; uninstallation leaves a lot of dross behind, like the FS logo that used to be your spinning globe.

Hello Folks, thanks for your answers....but do you have any better suggestions than Freeserve?....the trouble is, I would much rather subscribe to someone I have heard of than some obscure provider (e.g "biscit"....who??). Advice greatfully received!
I was recommended pipex by my brother who's been using it for some time - very good offer of less than 70 for modem, software, two microfilters and line activation costs then just on 23 per month - had no problems - excellent quality, remote email access if you want it and on line service status etc. PIPEX are a major player in the 'business' telecoms world but their package 'xtreme solo 2 go' is well worth a vist - also for independat advise try here - http://www.adslguide.org.uk/ good luck

Cheers for the answers. Decided to go with Freeserve anyway only to find out that I am not in a Broadband area at the moment.
