If spicy meals are bad for babies, I wonder what all the pregnant women do whose national cuisine is spicy?
Worry not. They will not be harmed.
im sure you and your babies will be fine. please stop worrying thats not so good for you or your babies.
Think about all the babies born in India. You will be fine xx
What you have 'heard' is that a hot, spicy curry is good for starting labour
It's all rubbish :)
No - you have heard an old wives' tale, you will be fine. Good luck to you and your little ones, I hope all goes well in a few weeks' time!
Just been having a conversation with my daughter about how different things are nowadays compared with when I was pregnant thirty and forty odd years ago. I went into labour with her in a restaurant, knew I would have a c section, but because I loved the puds I hung on for three courses! Daft, but she was fine as was my first, born in the sixties so god knows what I was eating, drinking and smoking then. Your babies will be fine. All the best.x
At least your dinner was something normal. I've heard of pregnant women developing yearnings to eat odd stuff, like coal, or pickled onions, etc!
The spicier the better was my motto with two pregnancies. I used to sit and eat jalapeños with a fork out of the jar! Both were fine!
