It is 7 weeks since I stopped smoking with the aid of E-Lites, they are brilliant, I would not smoke another normal cigarette again, ever.

I'm on the e-lites too! Three months now and I did use patches to start off with as well.

I get a bit annoyed with myself at times as I know I have swapped one habit for another but hey....

Craft, I used to smoke about 30-40 a day and I use a cartridge every 2-3 days now, I think that works out at about 70 p a day.
I've had a couple of issues with thingys breaking but the customer services are great and will send out replacements by return post.
As for leaking cartridges....as long as you stop using it as it begins to slow down it shouldn't happen. Lol, does take a bit of practise though....nothing worse than trying to get that last puff to be rewarded by a mouth full of that sweet yuck!

well done you for stopping, they didnt work for me as they gave me horrendous headaches and general nausea feeling (which stopped when i had a normal cig) apparently due to the level of nicotine in them which doesnt make sense to me as you would think they wouldnt contain or be very very low when i used them but have heard of a technique called linguistic therapy so am considering looking into that
Right I've ordered the disposable ones to try, I couldn't be arsed with rechargeable ones.
Hey Craft, just remember the taste is a little strange at first. I did find it a bit off putting, but I think that may have just been me, mates who have tried it say it's fine.
Good luck....

good news for you, and those around you esp babies!

wish there was more support and publicity for alternatives to cold turkey!

Why do they not advertise these on television like they do nicotine patches etc.I did not know anything about them until about 4 or 5 months ago, when my OH told me one of his collegues was using this kind of realistic ciggy and had not had real one for almost a year.
Mine have arrived..............wish me luck.
Wish there was more support for the weight gain when you give up. I can't shift mine.

Good luck craft1948,I do not know what these one,s are like.Hope they are like mine. They did taste a bit perculiar at first, but I am going to admit to you all, last night I thought I would try a real cig,but had to put it out after first draw not a patch on my electric one would not swap it for the world.I am slowly reducing the smoking of this ciggy aswell.I must admit I have a septic throat and an ulcer in my mouth, but cannot completly say it is due to this,I do have a wisdom tooth nearly through and have always had septic throats throughout my entire life so do not totally blame this ciggy.I do have a long term chronic illness that reduces my immune system so I am putting these symptoms down to that.
Question Author
The good thing with this way of not smoking the real thing is you do not put weight on,or rather I have not put any extra weight on, that was my biggest put off of giving up(the extra weight gain).
I packed in about 12 yrs ago, went cold turkey, not easy, but best thing I've done since being awarded a Green Beret, so to you guys that are trying, GOOD LUCK TO YOU, hope it goes well.
Question Author
That was quick craft1948,getting them, did you get them off the internet? You must have tried them by now. What do you think?
Seeeriously well done fred!!

And GOOD LUCK craft!!! Keep us posted! Xxxx

Question Author
craft1948,it's been 3 days since you got your disposable ciggies, how are you doing. How do you find them?
I've had them for 6 weeks,brilliant.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Question Author
Are yours disposable or rechargeable ones everhelpful? I have the rechargeable ciggy.I wondered if the stength was pretty much the same,as I have been banging on about my ciggy for a while, saying how brilliant it is.
