How do I make the most of it, what type of Apps and stuff would be a good idea? Anything that anyone can recommend, I am a little bit slow on the uptake with this type of thing lol, and I would (obviously) like to make the absolute most of it.
I already have my music on it, and photos and personal video clips. Just wondered if there are any brilliant (prefferably free) Apps out there that would just blow my mind - some more than it has been already :-)!
Brilliant piece of kit; as I say I am getting up to speed Veeeerrrrryyy gradually lol.
Thanks guys!

The very best thing on the iPad (2 or 3) is Facetime. You need somebody to talk to though, who must also have an iPad 2 or 3 or an iPhone 4S. Ideally you'd also have an iPad Smart Cover:

or some other stand so you can sit hands free and just talk.
You've probably done video conferencing before, e.g. with Skype, but with Facetime, as you carry it around your house/office or stand it on your table/desk like a talking electronic photo frame, it's just ... better. No headset, no mic, just you and the person you're talking to. It's great, it's very high quality (assuming your Internet connection is OK) - and it's free ...

Thanks folks.
Facetime was something I was thinking about getting....
There are just so many good things on this device that getting exposure to most of them takes some thinking power (for me anyway lol), and I am just mind blown with the choices - just want to make the very most of it.....
Any other suggestions are gratefully received - those who have sensible answers that is!
