We have upvc doors & windows, they are coming up to 20 years old and we cannot afford to replace them. Two of the windows will no longer open because the mechanisms are broken and we need them repairing. We also have an external door in the kitchen that has a tilt & turn window which is also broken (the handle just turns & turns and doesn't engage in any of the catches that lock the window), I used that window most as I have it open when I am cooking. I need someone who could repair them but I don't know where to look, does anyone know of a firm that does it, I am in the Halifax,West Yorkshire area. I will be extremely grateful for any answers. Thanks for your reply and link but unfortunately they are not the type of repairs we need, it would seem that they only replace the glass or complete units. Thanks anyway.
