Last week I had cavity wall insulation put in. Originally when the man came to see me he said it was difficult to do as we live in a linked detached house so they would need to use a lance which would cost £99 extra. Whe the man came to do it he said a lance was unnecessary so when I paid he knocked off the £99. This morning I have received a bill for £99,no comment just the bill. What would you do?

I would write a polite note, explaining exactly what you just have, and decline to pay.

We had acavity wall insulation an we are in a linked house , there was no problem and no extra equipment needed. The £99 extra is a con , refuse to pay.
