Really? "RAF marching" was always a contradiction, and funny to watch. When does a pilot or engineer ever get called upon to march anywhere? It makes sense for soldiers, or did. And sailors used to have to present on deck and also do drills for duties in action. But the RAF, no.
can't beat The Chelsea Pensioners when they march or walk slowly down the steps of the Albert Hall. It brings tears to my eyes everytime
The RAF Regiment Colour Squadron are good but they are a specialist drill team for display purposes only.
For everyday stuff and parades involving formings etc the Guards Regiments are undoubtedly the best.
I don't know how it is these days but when I did basic training as an infantry soldier the Guards training was 4 weeks longer, just to encompass their drill.
Our Air Cadets will bear you out, Ace.
For displays, these take some beating.

Those slow-motion Greek soldiers on the TV last night looked pretty odd to me.
And these guys use drums and sticks instead of rifles, they're rather good too!

But there can be a downside. I think the camera flash did for this poor lad at 2:35.
