Hi,AULDEN,is this a quiz from the North-east Scotland? A corn kist is Doric for a corn chest (for holding oats for plough horses)
I don't think no4 is a misprint.There is a luck penny

Hi quinie. yes this is from NE Scotland and I just couldn't think what went with kist. Now you have said it, it rang a distant bell!!! Not really up in the doric yet but I'm learning. Thanks for the luck penny too.
