Are you sitting comfortably? Good. Now raise your right foot slightly off the ground and start turning your foot in a clockwise direction. At the same time draw an imaginary figure 6 in the air with your right forefinger. Your foot will now start rotating anticlockwise. (Well it did for the four of us who tried it.) Anything more strenuous I will have to think about.

Sorry far too strenuous!
And it exercises two parts of the body at once!
Could we have one of your cakes while we're exercising BAKERS?

Er - can I whisper this. Mr BD retired two weeks ago and he never bakes cakes at home because we just don't eat them. I, as you may have read, have never baked in my life. Sorry.
Typical - leading us on with your gorgeous avatar. It's like me trying to be an owl

I will have to see if I can change my avatar to a french baguette or a croissant as he does make those at home. mmmmm
Another impossible exercise for ABers .............. Try this!
Put your two hands together with finger tips touching including your thumbs (like in prayer but palms must not be touching) bend your MIDDLE fingers down towards your palms and press the knuckles on these fingers firmly together and don't open them at all. Keeping your hands like this in a "steeple" pose - open your two little fingers (finger tips) apart and then back to original position. That was easy wasn't it? Now do the same with your thumbs, then put back together .........then your index (first) fingers. All easy so far ....Now here is the hard one .......remember, keeping your knuckles of your middle fingers pressed firmly together - try to open your ring fingers ! It is impossible .......... our fingers and the connecting tendons, guides etc are simply not built to do this.
Hold on I'm doing my pelvic floor exercises, they're more important (hopefully)................
I'll take your word for it ann, off to bed. goodnight :-)
rub tummy in a circular motion with one hand. Then try to pat your head with the other. How many seconds before you're rubbing or patting with both hands?
Coward AYG! but it IS your birthday so you are let off doing the exercises until tomorrow ;)
Since I was a child I have always wished I could put my tongue out of my mouth curled up from each side - the rest of my family can do it but it's impossible for me!!! SO frustrating!
Sit at a table and write Mississippi while making a large circle with your foot. Can be combined with pelvic floor exercises.
can also be combined with changing a fuse, if you want to multitask properly
This is a lovely thread, latent with possibilities.

Impossibilities for me, as after a few glasses of Scottish falling over water, I daren't try the exercises.

lardhelmet - a name to conjure with - the mind boggles
Prepare a 15 x 15 crossword grid freehand. I can't even do it now (I do Araucaria and other toughies on separate sheet before filling in in the paper).
Count to 100 quickly but miss out all the multiples of 7 ..........
