fuzzy face
17 Answers
as a woman in my late sixties i find i have got a lot of fine fuzzy hair on the side of my face, it may always have been there but is now more noticeable, if i remove it will it grow stronger or darker? if for example i remove it then don't do it again for while, i'm afraid to try without asking someone who knows.

Be careful with hair removal cream and do a patch test first somewhere no noticable.
I tried it once back in uni and it took a chunk out of my leg. Tried it again earlier in the week (figured things might have got better as over 10 years since the last attempt) as I wanted to target some facial hair (joys of PCOS!).
I tried a test the night before which was ok, didn't leave it on too long and it didn't shift anything. Tried the night after properly and it got rid of some of the hair but went really red and felt like it was burning and looked all lumpy. Stuck lots of cooling gel, aloe vera, on then aqueous cream and had an attractive (not!) red chin for the next few days which then came up in lots of little red scab type things and is still irritated and quite dry and flakey now. Parts on my hands have also gone all dry and flakey, maybe from putting it on.
Lots of people seem to use it fine but worth a cautious test first, just in case!
