Are there any craft get togethers in Northampton?

Like knitting or sewing groups, baking or gardening or anything really. Somewhere where folk can learn /teach each other something really useful?
If there isnt, would anyone like to think about setting something up with me?

Can't help with Northampton, although I'm not that far from you and would be interested to hear if you get anything up and running.

Wow what a fab response!
Parkdale I will google U3A, thats exactly the type of thing I was thinking of.....like a co operative of talents coming together and exchanging learning and teaching, very informally of course. And no cost to anyone except travel to homes on a rota basis. Oh and tea, coffee ( gin if required) and biccies and cakes!
Hopey Im part of a knitting circle too, at the moment theres just me, which is why I thought theres so many folk sitting alone doing stuff, why not share a couple of hours. Its got to be a step in the right direction for bringing the community spirit back.
Ummm Im not too far from the park, but didn't really want peeps to pay extra for venues. Anyway how would you show us how to grow your lovely marrows in a rented room lol?
Slinkycat fliers are a great idea I shall see if I can get something done, gosh this might be sooo big.......wouldn't that be great! Just think several groups in different areas doing different things. Like a cheapo version of the WI LOL LOL!!
Im not going to be responsible though for anyone becoming gin dependant hahaha.........I'll get my thinking cap on, and maybe if peeps here want to start small we could get together then expand.......specially after all them cup cakes and goodies!!!
Thanks to everyone who responded, Im smiling like a Chesire cat ;)))
