How mad is this...??

My neighbour has an 06 Mercedes and a K reg Peugeot that he uses for work. He's just gone and got the K reg completely re-sprayed. How much would a K reg be worth now? A lot less than a re-spray....

I know these people quite well as it's my ex FIL and he wouldn't know anyone who'd do it as a 'favour'

What a waste of money...

A K reg is about August 1992 so you are right, as usual. Maybe the car had sentimental value to him as that is the case with some people.

There's a bloke around here who has got a VW transporter thing and he keeps painting differ bits of it different colours (combination of white, red/orange and black). It never looks right in any combination and it looks like it has been do e with gloss paint and a huge brush.

It's his works car so very much doubt it has any sentimental value.

To OG - I had an allotment once and gave it up when I went to the local market and found I could buy a SACK of onions for £3.50 - the amount I paid for the onion sets to grow. They are more now, but that was then.
P.S. I don't peep through the net curtains, I pull them up and have a really good look. Only entertainment I get nowadays.
