I increased my preventative inhaler for asthma a few months ago which the asthma clinic nurse agreed I should stick to new higher dosage. However it means that the inhaler only lasts 20 days rather than 30. Can anyone confirm whether I should have my prescription adjusted to read two inhalers or do I just order more frequently. I never thought of this when I went to the clinic, and just realised I am running short. Not sure whether I can order more frequently than once a month.
It is the preventer that I have had to increase. My prescription is for 1 inhaler - 2 doses twice a day which now has increased to 3 doses twice a day, hence it only lasts 20 days and not a month. Although reluctant to take GP's time up, I have made an appointment with him to hopefully amend the prescription to 2 inhalers.
To be honest rowanwitch, never thought to ask before. Did have a couple of spares due to being advised to order early over bank holiday periods but just realised I am now running short. Will get it sorted though. Thanks.
