Can anyone tell me how much duty/VAT would be incurred in importing electronics from Hong Kong/China if the value of the goods does not exceed £100. Any help would be appreciated.

I believe the import duty is zero on electronic items costing below £135.00. But remember that HMRC add what an item costs to what was paid for postage and insurance, (if any), to arrive at their valuation for an item. VAT is 20%. Royal Mail or UPS will act as your agents to obtain customs clearance, and if so, you'll have to cough up between £8.00 and £11.00 on delivery for the service they've provided.
