Yes, another month has passed - doesn't time fly when you are having fun!

I can now reveal that BigMac's chosen links were:

I detect a rather sporty bais there and his avoidance of the two obvious answers means that scoring was unfortunately low.
In fact I was surprised nobody went for PASToral, ELECToral or BALMoral (but they wouldn't have earned you points either.
I also have to report that some players seem to have given up too soon because we had 9 fewer players this weekend. Is the game too hard or is the weather too hot?

Deecee131 is my first choice having last been setter longer ago, but after the problems I encountered getting in touch with a setter last month, would ask both to please get in touch.

Before you say so, yes, ulysses100, you suggested BALMoral but I had typed the above before you played and have been out all day. Just checked that late entries didn't affect the outcome and posted what I had prepared in order not to delay the posting of the results.

In terms of 'the game itself', it is getting very samey. Questioners are always trying to outdo the guessers, especially with bluffs and double bluffs, and for us we can never make the 0900-0903 cut off so we are always at a disadvantage as carers.

Goodness, how could I not have picked French Oral, after the hundreds of hours I spent examining them while I was still teaching! On second thoughts, maybe I didn't want any reminders.... thanks BigMac and gen2. A poor month for me but I'll keep trying.
