The Conservative Party Chairman and expenses fiddler has been caught out again.

She has failed to disclose to parliament income from a property she owns. It was only dicovered when she fell out with a party donor. The disgruntled gentleman dropped her in it, and it was only then that she declared the income.

// The failure to make a declaration emerged from a dispute between Baroness Warsi and a Conservative donor and fund-raiser, Dr Wafik Moustafa.

He was upset when the Conservative Arab Network, which he founded, was told earlier this year to sever its links with the party and was subsequently threatened with legal action by Baroness Warsi.

That prompted him to disclose that he had given her and her special adviser, Naweed Khan, accommodation in London.
In the course of inquiries made because of his public statement, the failure to make a disclosure about her rental income was discovered. //

She's a Tory? Then it must all be some ghastly mistake. They have far higher standards.
but I'm a tory and I dont think shes being picked on.

shes a liar and a thief, not difficult is it, and shes been caught out yet again
She's got form for this kind of thing, but the Tories will want to back her because it looks good for them to have a female muslim in the high ranks.
This might be the last straw though. We'll see.
I had alwas assumed that she was a token.. asian, female, muslim. Not really of any consequence and easily replaced.
erm... no, I don't know, nothing is that obvious to me.
baz, well said. I vote Conservative too - and I like your honesty.
@ludwig & jom

spot on
not sure about the liability bit, but she certainly has cheated the system, as have countless others from all the political parties.
Where oh where are the comments from that very fair minded AOG ?
This is tokenism - she is a very ordinary politician who has been elevated to a position beyond her meagre talents because she is a female muslim.

I have only ever voted Tory and yet think this woman is a thief and a liar and should be arrested.
but the Tories will want to back her because it looks good for them to have a female muslim in the high ranks.
She should go for stupidity if nothing else in thinking she could get away with it. It will do DC no credit in backing her and does not look good for the Tories to have a thief and cheat, female, muslim, or otherwise in their high ranks.
The Tories have been thinking of ousting her for a while as she is considered useless at her job as party Chairman. However, as she is a woman and a muslim they have not had the guts to do it, so now is their chance.
She has changed quite a bit since she left her first husband and married her second. she has gone from wearing western dress to more eastern apparel and is now much more arrogant. Bring husband no.1 back!

Hope he's okay and hasn't deserted us.
Warsi had the perks like many other MPs. Blame the parliamentary accountants/auditors who were lax on explaining entitlements.

No! Blame the offender - whatever his/her political persuasion.
It's worrying that AOG isn't here, Ab Editor , but Gromit is reliably flying his flag.

Let's encourage him - all together now - <]:-)

"Then raise the scarlet standard high.
Within its shade we'll live and die,
Though cowards flinch and traitors sneer,
We'll keep the red flag flying here."
Which fiddler should be next? I vote for cheque waving Hazel "flipper" Blears.

I wonder if she's changed addresses much since the expenses scandal?

By rights, shouldn't she have moved a couple of times by now?
