Anyone got any ideas on how to celebrate this. Need to think of something a bit different to suit ages over 60

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.please don't make us over 60's look to be old doddery sods.a suggestion, lets have something energetic, like doing jigsaws, and real food, like fish cakes and mash that has been through a blender 6 times. I will be gardening, creosoting the fences, running my 91 year old mother to B&q so she can select some plants to put in her window boxes, then we will all sit in our garden and have a meal and enjoy the day, weather permitting. I'm 66, still working self employed and would be very,very upset if someone invited me to an over 60's do.

lol percy...they seem to think as you get older you are not capable of doing ANYTHING..im 52 this year and i dread getting to my 60s for fear of people thinking im past it...i keep myself fit..i go to the gym 4 times a week,cycle 10 miles a day..[in the summer lol]...and play squash id like to think that i am still reasonably fit and healthy and i hope to carry this regime on until im advised not to... or when im 60 and ready for the knackers yard or the nearest old folks home according to some folk...
