We have been like a lot of folk out there, fortunate to travel a lot of countries throughout the world, as soon as we have stepped off the Ship / plane we know that that country is not like this " Take pity on them place" the far East has it's severe rules & if they say jump, you jump, Singapore, you throw litter / spit in the street there is a hefty fine & so there should be, why, when these people get caught drug carrying start crying, it was someone Else's suitcase? have they not got the sense to check the thing themselves? going back to the post regards this person that has been caught in Bali, she knew what she was doing its sod all to do with the British Gov, if she is tried & found guilty, Bali Law is death, how many lives has drugs taken "DO GOODERS"?

Has she been found guilty then?
Our government has a duty to assist distressed citizens abroad. A good thing too.
Well said !!!
no, id just shrug and let them put me to death ... i mean i wouldnt want the shame of someone saying 'i told you so' or saying ive been stupid.
id rather die.

or rather no, actually, if for any reason whatsoever, i was a risk of being killed for doing somehting stupid, i would scream, cry, shout, wail as loud as i could for as long as i could until someone helps me...

seriously, what a daft question - do you honestly expect anyone not to do all they could to stay alive?

I will expect to live in a drug free place and all Joko, how would you feel if it was one of your family that killed her / him self taken drugs by the likes of this vermin?
I think I would just cry.
The moral high ground is a crowded place - I think we should show a little sympathy, which doesn;t hurt anyone to give.
Surely the drug taker has as much choice as the drug mule and therefore equally deserves their fate according to your logic.
thats got nothing to do with your question TWR ... you asked if any of us would cry for help if in the same situation ... and i answered that yes, of course, ost of us would

to somehow imply people wouldnt ask for help if their life is in danger is ludicrous
