T mobile text message charges on pay-as-you-go
9 Answers
I am sometimes being charged 2 or 3 times for the same text message, as in following example costing 36p:
24/05/2012 20:38:28 TMO Network SMS Mobile Off_VM 1 Events £0.12
24/05/2012 20:38:22 TMO Network SMS Mobile Off_VM 1 Events £0.12
24/05/2012 20:38:13 TMO Network SMS Mobile Off_VM 1 Events £0.12
Is it because of the length of the message; if so, how many characters am I allowed before a further charge is made please?

The technical definitions will define a maximum number of characters that can be sent in one message, and the method for tying multiple messages together to form a single text on your handset would be much the same on all the commercially available equipment.
