Patio Update

Well, that`s it. The end of the builder saga. The patio if finished and looks lovely.
Joking aside, it is nice to watch a good builder working when he is skilled and takes a pride in his work.
I say end of but not quite. He is coming back tomorrow night for a little celebration so I`m off to buy his favourite tipple, nibbles and candles for the patio. And what`s more folks! He`s

All you need now is for the Police to come and dig it all up again looking for.......who knows what?

I`d love to see their faces if they did Parkdale! A sharps box full of syringes and two sweet tins, aka time capsules, filled with ABer`s suggestions. Managed just about all of them,even the Pot Noodle. Kept forgetting to buy it so had to go back just for that. Could see the lad thinking........poor old dear...dinner for one and it`s a Pot Noodle.

My raised patio would be a very raised patio then though all the better to watch the Red Kites that have been circling tonight.

Is the Obelisk finished then - photos?

No. The obelisk idea came to me some weeks ago. Discussed with daughter who said,very quietly, "Well if you think so." Dismissed it til builder stacked the old slabs in exactly they way I imagined the obelisk. It looked good but needs planning well when I return from holiday.
Curious about your idea. Always up for some fun.
