Wonderful things.I bought my first one over twenty five years ago and purchased a new one last year. They are a godsend when you work especially at this time of the year.Although retired now I still use mine an awful lot.
Get yourself a Crockpot recipe book to go with it and you are away. There are loads of recipes on the web anyway.
In mine I make stews and casseroles, pot roasts, porridge, and even jacket potatoes.I add dumplings and potatoes for the last hour of cooking for a stew.Shove it all in the night before switch it on before you go to work and you will have a lovely hot meal ready for you when you return.
