Just been pulled over by the Police and breathalysed as part of the Summer Drink Drive Campaign in Wales. My reading was zero (- as it should have been since I haven't had a drink since 1989) but the message is simple - If you are thinking of having a drink, please don't drive.

It's worth remembering about the morning after too. You could easily still be over the limit even if you feel fine.

.lWY..I don't have a problem with being stopped.....I was merely asking if it was within the law to pull you over to simply breathalyze.....
The "nothing to hide..." argument is fast becoming an excuse by anyone including our beloved government to poke their noses into more and more of our private and personal lives...

I would agree with Rowan to some extent about the NW police being a little over zealous at times and I put that down to Richard Brunstrum and his mad ideas about motoring offences. However, I do not have a Plaid Cymru nor a Wales sticker on the car and have only been pulled twice and the first time I was driving a high powered demo through an area notorious for drug dealing at 3 in the morning (after returning from a very late meeting in Manchester) and the second was this morning
