If the Queen can stand in the rain for 4 hours, can't the planes fly by and salute her? It's not as if there's a hurricane or a snow storm.

The Queen wasn't actually out in the rain, she was safe under cover on the barge.

It was low cloud cover.
You could only see half of the Shard building (1012 feet).

Was thinking , imagine buying a flat at the top.
You would be sat in mist of of the year :-)

No doubt the weather has eased up a bit now the pageant is all over.

very low cloud, you could hardly see the top of some of the smaller office blocks and if you'd paid millions for a high level apartment in the shard you would not have seen a thing!!!!
