She wasn't charged for the replies - it was £5 per incoming text so deleting or ignoring would have made no difference. They are sh**s! I've managed to get an email address through TMobile, so I've fired off an email to them threatening further action if they don't refund her money. Unfortunately, T Mobile don't refund for premium rate services according to their website and customer services are closed, so I'll speak to someone tomorrow. And I'll get onto OFCOM too.
