At times we all I presume get tight in the money department, would you be tempted to get a loan from a loan shark or the likes?

No
No way!
No
nope
No way Jose.
I would rather do without than get in the clutches of anyone lending money. It is the start of a very slippery slope. Don't think I don't know what it is like - I have had to make a half a pound of sausages into a meal for three. Not much for anyone, but we managed somehow.
no loan sharks only appear in soaps.
Nope, I've seen what happens on Corrie!
If money was tight and I was desperate and no-one to help then yes
..mm..well there are all sorts of reasons to need cash, from buying new shoes to buying medical help for your old and in agony mum...all flavours inbetween....at some point in the equation I'd probably have to do it ....but not for luxury items ....never.!
Yes, I have, from the local money lender. Luckily his rates weren't that bad and I paid it off ASAP.
no, borrowing money from these companies will end up costing you more in the long run, I would probably budget/save or sell something to raise the needed cash.
No,No,No!!!
Be more tempted to cut back. Get a second job. Anything than loan sharks!!
I certainly wouldn't. Unfortunately there are enough people who do. I've seen the same thing with drugs. I was offered drugs like LSD a few times when I was at college but I always felt quite scared and metaphorically 'ran a mile'. I saw others take them though without any obvious fear of the consequences.

I think it's the same with those who borrow from loan sharks. They have no fear or awareness of the dangers or consequences.
Define "loan shark"?
god i hope not
No, if I'm ever in need of a quick cash fix I ask the mother in law, she's loaded
An unlicenced and unregulated lender ChuckFickens. All companies and individuals offering financial services have to be licenced and comply with various laws. 'Loan sharks' are unlicenced and ignore the laws protecting themselves and their customers.
I know a loan shark. He's quite fair considering.
