bt homehub 3
2 Answers
hello there I got bt internet when I moved home at xmas I set up two laptops to connect to the hub by putting the code in supplied with the hub.
I have always noticed other wireless connections I could connect to on the pop up tab, I thought these were the neighbours, but I noticed I could connect to them without a pass code and they say they are unsecured. So I thought what if they are varying versions of my router that have been set up for some reason, so I turn my router off and sure enough all three router signals go down.
So if all three router signals are mine, why?
They say
BTHub 3
BTopenzone-H
BTFON
I remember a day or two ago my laptop opened a window and asked what type of internet signal I was using home/office/mobile so it could adjust the security if needed, I clicked home, so I don't know if that's where 'BTopenzone-H' has come from. What worries me is that the last two in the list state 'security - none' whilst the top one I use normally lists all the security I am familiar with. I am worried other people could connect to my connection via the latter two connections.
Any help gratefully received as I can't seem to just delete the latter two connections, so lost.
