Have solved it but two answers do not make sense.

9A. Setters possessively appropriating social hum (5)
O?O?R
The only word that fits is ODOUR.
Do in Our? Social = Do? and hum = Odour?

25D Dramatist from Northern Ireland, say, raised independently (4)

The answer which is obvious has to be paired with another word. (27A)
But Ingesting does not mean independently.

Where am I going wrong?
Help appreciated.

Odour is correct a do is a social. I think Inge stands on its own and the S?I?G must go with B?A. But I can't see boasting and muscle switches so I may be wrong

NI is raised and EG raised separately to get IN and GE, INGE.

Thank you both.

Muscles = AB, O inside and switched is Boa.

When I look up boast, I do not get possess; but when I look up possess, I get boast as one of the meanings.
So boasting must be right.
I was pairing 27A with the wrong word.
