Has anyone ever been refused entry to the USA for not having a visa when they have had a DUI? I booked a last minute trip to go to a friends wedding and did not know that I MAY have to get a visa? What is the likelyhood of rejection, or of them even knowing this information?

DUI is not grounds for refusal of admission in any event. You don't need a visa and can truthfully tick the no box on the form - it's not moral turpitude
Go in under the visa waiver scheme, as previously said, you can do so legitimately.

Do NOT go and apply for a visa, as perversely they will probably refuse you, and then you'll be ineligible for the visa waiver scheme!

(Been there, done that)
Yes, it's likely a rejection. You don't have to have a visa. DUI is not grounds for refusal of admission.
