How do you open a RAR file and what do I need to do so?
Also, I have went from a 6gig hard drive to an 80gig. Should I add more memory to the PC?

For RAR files (like ZIP files), you need a program to open them. 7zip is pretty good and free:
http://www.7-zip.org/

As far as going from 6GB to 80GB: no, you don't need more RAM memory.
