I'm having problems with Autotrader and wondered if it's my laptop or them. Could somebody pull up a selection of cars and then click on the main picture of one of the cars itself. Then when you have got that far, (and this is where my computer won't go any further) click again on the main picture and it should go larger and you can flick through all the enlarged photos. Also, after you have clicked on the car picture for the first time, you can usually read more about the car by clicking on one of the headings such as Vehicle Summary, Performance & Economy etc. These won't open for me, either using Firefox or Safari. So do they open for you? Thank you so much. This is really annoying.

That works for me too on IE9

Thanks to you both. MASS your link won't work for me after the first click on the Ford and it takes me to the next page, to Performance etc. None of those headings will open. Could be because I'm on a Mac possibly, but it usually works. Bugger.
Ha ha, normally people gloat they have a mac!
Sorry about that ladybirder, maybe go old fashioned and get the magazine!!
Good on FF12...:-)

Thanks for trying anyway.
Well just phoned a friend who uses a Mac and he tried and it was fine. So it's this machine. Think I'll have a bit of a clear out and see what happens. X
If its info on a particular car that you are after Lady, Google it + the reviews, all the information is there to be seen.

No TWR, I want to see close-ups and the different shots of the actual cars I might be interested in buying. But thanks anyway.
Perhaps you need a particular bit of software downloaded - Flash player or similar.

Hopkirk it worked yesterday so no idea why it won't today. If it needs a download to open something it usually tells me. Thanks anyway, if you think of anything else ....... :-)
Works OK on my Mac - under Firefox.

Thanks Canary. The problem seems to be with this laptop. I've emptied the cache and shut most windows I had open. Never had a problem ever with this before.

Well I don't suppose that anyone is remotely interested but my Mac is back to it's normal self and the drop-down menus are working properly in Auto Trader this morning. I've researched quite a bit about this problem and it seems that quite a few browsers can have problems with drop-down menus because of the way the web designer configures them, quite often incorrectly. Still doesn't explain why mine worked one day and not the next though. Still all OK for the moment.
