The village my Dad and sis live in (where I just moved away from) is a few miles away from Thame where Robin Gibb lived and is where his funeral is being held today.
From what I gather just by reading facebook, a lot of people from the village are going to the procession in Thame. But not to pay their respects to him, just to see what celebs they can spot. One of them even has the nerve to moan that she's cold and bored of waiting.
What is wrong with some people? It's not en effing publicity stunt, the man died. I don't want to know these people anymore.

when I was young everyone had their front curtains drawn as a mark of respect on the day of the funeral if somebody died in your street and you bowed your head as the funeral cars went passed another mark of respect.
Not anymore and people chatting loudly on their mobiles without even a second glance and as for a street collection for funeral flowers you dont even know your neighbours anymore.Sad but true.
