Tiny flies around my windows
4 Answers
In the last month or so, tiny flies, the size of gnats, have been congregating around my windows. I thought at first this was something to do with one of my houseplants, that perhaps it had developed a disease of some sort. The windows, although new, are not particularly well insulated and each morning I have to wipe them, an act which generally kills 10 flies per window. What are these little flies and why are they in my flat? More importantly, how do I get rid of them?

I have however noticed something similar around houseplants if I have overwatered them. Here is a link to a site which tells more about them. http://www.the-piedpiper.co.uk/th6h.htm
