When we got home I picked up the very damp carpet and there was a big hole in the floor - you could see the ground through it. A bit more and I would have been running to keep up. Ever afterwards when we were in the process of buying yet another piece of tat, I always picked up the carpets to look underneath. Just to check, of course.

Sealed unit doesn't quite fit? Sorry, you will have to buy some lugs.

When I got back I went to part exchange it and the salesman took it for a drive around the block and whatever he offered me he said he would have to take an extra £50 off as he could hear the wheel bearings grating. I was told a few days later the mechanic had it up on the hoist and he spun the wheel and the whole thing came off and bounced out of the garage!
These square steering wheels didn't catch on either..
